Hm, from what I see these manga you've linked aren't too pricier than any normal manga tankoubon, I mean their price is usually around 600 yen...I understand though, sometimes you think that "okay, I will buy this later", and when you want to buy it, you realize it's been sold out orz

2-3 new manga per month isn't too bad :D

well the gateau magazines retail for around 300 more yen and aren't complete stories...

i was tempted to get Canna just to see Hayakawa Nojiko's oneshots but i have this mindset i want complete stories and stick to tankobuns :x

No, the magazines are always more expensive than tankoubons, but they usually have more pages too...well, I also prefer buying tankoubons than magazines though...

ahhaaha yep :( - the mags go for 980yen whereas the tanks go for 690 yen.. seems to be a gateau standard price from all the sites i checked. the gateau magazines seem much smaller compared to the canna or drap comic books - the ones that look like telephone directories rofl. can't see the number of pages a Gateau magazine has anywhere.
